artwork, prices, credits, colors, production time, ship date and
delivery instructions have to be clarified. All orders must be
completely understood and clarified before production. We reserve the

Purchase Order Requirements
When submitting a purchase order with Odyssey, we require the following information:

Inventory Availability Quotes
Inventory availability is based on current quantities available at the immediate time of quote. These quantities can change without notice and can only be guaranteed and mortgaged with receipt of a firm purchase order.

Screen Charges
There is a $47.50 (V) screen charge per imprint color for direct screen printing. This applies to the first order of each new design, and covers press set up and screen processing costs. |

Copy Changes
There will be a $32.50 (V) charge per color for direct screen printing. If both item and copy are changed, new screen charges will apply. The minimum quantity per copy is 36 pieces. |
Repeat Orders
There will be no additional screen charges for the same design on the same item(s) if reordered within two years. After two years, screen charges will apply. We cannot guarantee exact color matches on repeat orders. |
Screen Color Change
Changing from a ceramic imprint to a metallic imprint or vice versa will be $47.50 (V). |
Screen Conversion Charges
An identical design applied to a different item incurs a new screen charge. |

Trademarks
You must own the intellectual property rights to the artwork or copy submitted for imprint or be authorized by way of assignment to submit the art or copy. By submitting artwork or copy, you and your client agree that you are in compliance with all laws related to trademark, copyright, and all other intellectual property rights in the artwork or copy submitted. Odyssey disclaims all liability for non-compliance with these laws.

Proofs (Art Approvals)
A courtesy fax or e-mailed artwork proof is sent with every new order. This is exactly how your imprint (size, placement and copy) will appear on the item you are purchasing. This is your last opportunity to make any changes to your artwork before your order goes to production. Pay particular attention to spelling, phone numbers, size and positioning of your layout. Written approval must be received at our factory within 24 hours before production will begin. Any delay in returning this art approval may result in adjustment to the shipping date. Changes to your art proof not due to our error will incur an $20.00 (V) art change charge.

Size and Position of Artwork
Your order must clearly state if your artwork is 1 side, 2 sides or wraparound. Also state if the art is to exact size or should be reduced or enlarged. If instructions are not clearly stated, we will use our best judgment. Imprints using glass and ceramic enamels must be 2 cm from the lip of the mug or glass due to FDA guidelines. Please take this into consideration if your art is to be vertically centered as we may be required to reduce its size. If specifications are not given for artwork sizing, no claim will be honored for incorrect sizing. Certain glassware products have a "seam" opposite the handle. Due to this "seam" we do not recommend a wraparound imprint. Artwork on some items such as martini glasses and brandy snifters will be altered in appearance due to the taper, shape or radius of the item.

Wrap-Around or Opposite Side Imprint
There is no additional charge for 1 color designs on most items in our catalog when direct screen imprinting the same color on the opposite side. Metallic imprints, decal printing and some irregular shapes require a special quote from the factory for opposite side imprinting.

Imprint Colors
Please specify PMS number for imprint color(s) on the order. We offer many standard colors, but some colors such as Rhodamine Red, Rubine Red, hot pink and bright purple, cannot be achieved with the ceramic color palette available for high firing on glass and ceramics. If you choose one of these colors, we will contact you for an alternate choice.
We do not guarantee exact color matches due to the nature of the firing process, and because variations can occur due to substrate color, opacity, and other factors. Because of the nature of ceramic enamels we cannot guarantee exact matches from pre-production sample to the production run.
Satin Etch is a popular imprint color often used on glassware. This is a screen printed application. Odyssey does not employ a deep etch process.
All ceramic colors are dishwasher safe.

Multi-Color Design Registration
When multiple colors are used in a design, a variance of +/- 1/16" may occur and is considered acceptable. Tighter registration can be achieved by the use of a decal, but will require a special quote and additional lead time. Decals are applied by hand and variation of position will occur. Exact straightness and positioning cannot be guaranteed and slight variations are considered acceptable.

Decals (1 hour minimum art time @ $47.50)
If a multicolor design with tight registration requires a decal to achieve the desired result, there will be an upcharge to our normal pricing and production will require additional lead time. The minimum order for decals is 144 pieces with +/- 10%. Production is about 4–6 weeks. In addition to the price of an item in 1 color, add the following charges to the quantity specified accordingly:

Decal * 4-color Process
Minimum orders are 500 pieces. A pre-production approval must accompany all decal orders before final production begins. Special pricing must be obtained on 4-color process. Set-up can run from $300–500. Complicated artwork requiring extensive amount of art time will incur a charge of $47.50(V) per hour. We reserve the right to determine what is complicated artwork.
Delivery time is 4-6 weeks. Due to the nature of production processes, slight variations and small imperfections in ceramic ware and glassware are not considered flaws. Variation in raw and firing temperatures may result in variations in size, shape, glaze color, etc. and these conditions are within acceptable industry standards.

Personalization
Minimum quantity for personalization is 24 pieces with an order of 36 pieces. A complete typed alphabetical list of names must be submitted. To determine pricing, add $2.75 (V) per personalization to regular catalog pricing. Add $3.75 (V) for metallic personalizations. Personalization is not available at promotional pricing and lead time is 3 weeks for fulfillment. Personalization color may not always match the imprint color.

Metallic Gold, Platinum or Copper Imprints
For metallic gold, platinum or copper imprint add $0.54 (V) per piece per side, up to 3 square inches of coverage. Same pricing applies to microwave safe metallic gold and copper imprints. This is in addition to the regular imprint color charge. If the imprint exceeds 3 square inches of coverage, add $0.16 (V) per piece per square inch. Metallic imprints may wear off with use and are not recommended if you require lasting permanence. We reserve the right to change prices at any time according to current market conditions. Metallic imprints are not dishwasher safe.

Microwave Safe Metallic Imprints
Microwave safe gold and copper metallic imprints are available upon request. If you desire this process, "microwave safe" must appear on your order, or we will use our regular metallic imprint. Pricing for microwave safe metallics is the same as standard metallics. Microwave safe metallic imprints can vary slightly from the appearance and shine of standard metallics. Microwave safe metallic imprints may wear off with use and are not recommended if you require

Inserts
Inserts can be placed for $0.14 (V) per piece providing they require no bending or folding and will survive the heat of the product coming directly from the lehr. Inserts must be easily dropped into the item/packaging without extra labor. Production will not begin until we receive the inserts.

Less Than Minimum Charge
Items are sold in full case quantities. There will be a charge of $20.06(V) per order, per item for breaking case quantities. Odyssey is not responsible for breakage during shipping on orders that are not full case quantity. For any order less than 36 pieces, add $32.50(V) per color to each set-up charge plus screen charge. Absolute minimum production run is 24 pieces.

Spec/Pre-Production Samples
Speculative/pre-production samples are available at $37.50 (V) per color plus normal artwork and screen charges. If an order of 288 pieces requires no alterations to the original request, the art and screen charges will remain the same. Sample charges will be credited toward the order with the exception of decal proof and pre-production samples. Any changes to the original instructions for any speculative samples will incur additional non-refundable art, screen, and sampling charges. Slight variance should be accepted between sample proof and actual production due to the nature of different batching, ink, processing, firing, and other conditions. Orders calling for speculative/pre-production sample prior to production are not considered final until the sample is approved. This process can effect inventory commitments for that order and ship dates will be adjusted based on the date of sample approval.

Special Pricing Note
All prices listed in this catalog are based upon labor and material costs at the time of the printing. Pricing on all products is invoiced to the third place to the right of the decimal point. No allowance will be made for outdated catalogs or incorrect industry web sites and all pricing is subject to change.

Phone Orders * Order Changes * Order Cancellations * Purchase Orders
Phone orders, order changes and cancellations must be followed up in writing by fax. Charges incurred prior to change or cancellation of an order will be invoiced accordingly. Odyssey is not responsible should a duplicate shipment occur due to customer revising a Purchase Order (P.O.) without referencing original P.O. "No terms or conditions of purchase orders different from the terms and conditions of Creditor (seller) will become part of any sales agreement, purchase orders or other documents unless specifically approved in writing by Creditor (seller)." Electronic purchase orders must be confirmed to be considered valid, and ship date is generated based on confirmation date NOT order date.

Shipping Information |
Air Shipments
Authorization for air shipments must be received in writing before shipment will be made. It is the responsibility of the ordering party to be sure this authorization is received in a timely manner.
C.O.D. orders are not accepted.

Split Shipments
The first three split shipment locations are free. Any additional locations will incur a $6.25 (V) charge per location.

FOB Points and Freight Claims
FOB Point: Northeastern Florida. All shipments leaving our factory are inspected and signed for by the carrier. Odyssey is not responsible for breakage and delays in delivery. Any damage claim must be filed with the carrier within 15 days and will be limited to damages noted at the time of delivery. Title to the goods passes to the buyer upon release to the carrier.

Freight Charges
Unless otherwise specified, all shipments will be sent freight prepaid . Odyssey reserves the right to submit additional freight billing from the carrier after the original invoice is issued for miscellaneous fees including, but not limited to: inside delivery, residential delivery, re-delivery, address corrections or brokerage fees billed by the carrier after the first invoice is generated. Odyssey will provide freight estimates. However, estimate costs and transit times are not guaranteed and Odyssey will not be responsible for the final freight billing. Credit will not be issued if final freight charges are different than quotation given. Full value insured shipments must be clearly stated on your order. Unless otherwise specified, Odyssey reserves the right to ship your order by the method we deem to be the most efficient. Due to the volume of orders shipped daily, adjustments to shipping methods and locations MUST be received 3 days before the scheduled ship date or changes cannot be guaranteed. We will not be responsible for the accuracy of these changes unless they are received in writing.

Inside and Residential Deliveries
Orders requiring inside or residential delivery must be noted on your order. Failure to do so may result in delayed delivery and additional freight charges forwarded to you after the initial invoice is issued. Odyssey will not be held responsible for third party charges resulting from incorrect addresses.

UPS/FedEx/Parcel Post Shipments
Glassware and ceramics are generally not suitably packaged for small package carrier shipment. If you require shipping via small package carrier, we must repack the order into protective cartons at a $8.00 (V) charge per small carton or a $10.50 (V) charge per large carton. This charge is in addition to the freight charge and will be incorporated into the total freight billing, unless shipping third party or collect, in which case it will be itemized on the invoice. Due to special handling requirements, there will be a $18.75 (V) fee for all Parcel Post shipments. If you experience breakage, we can initiate a claim for you, only if we shipped on our account number. Third party or collect claims must be filed by account holder. Please retain the original package at the original delivery location for possible carrier inspection. Claims for damage must be filed within 15 days of shipment or no consideration can be given.

Special Packaging
Special labels must be supplied by the customer. If factory is to supply materials needed, there will be an additional charge based upon size of order. Minimum charge will be $25 for materials and labor. Please contact Customer Service for pricing and availability of gift boxes, package personalization, special mailers, and other special packaging options for your products.

Third Party Shipments
If you choose to ship your order on your UPS or Fed Ex account, please provide us with your account number along with the associated billing address. Orders that must be shipped out on your LTL account we require that you generate and submit a copy of your freight bill and schedule the pick up. For $18.75 (V) Odyssey will generate your order's Bill of Lading and schedule the pick up with your carrier. All third party shipments are subject to a $25 (V) palletizing and labeling charge.

Miscellaneous Information |
About Our Products
Due to the nature of production processes, slight variations and small imperfections in ceramics and glassware are not considered flaws. Items can not be guaranteed 100% consistent and no two items are guaranteed identical. Variation in raw materials, glazes, production equipment and firing temperatures may result in variations in size, shape, glaze color, etc. These conditions are within acceptable industry standards. All product sizes are approxima-te and subject to change without notice. Representative samples are available for evaluation at no charge.
Glass and ceramic items are imprinted by direct screen printing or ceramic decal and fired at a temperature of approximately 1100° F and 1450° F, fusing the imprint to the item. All ceramic imprints, except metallic gold, platinum and copper and imitation gold, platinum and copper are dishwasher safe. Stainless Steel, Acrylic, and Polycarbonate items are printed with organic enamels and are not considered dishwasher safe.

Claims and Returns
Claims other than those involving a freight carrier must be made within 30 days after receipt of shipment. Before any complaint is processed, we reserve the right to inspect several production pieces. Shipments returned without our permission will be refused.

Complete Orders
A complete purchase order sent with camera ready art and all necessary information will ensure the fastest turnaround of your order. Any calls for clarification or credit issues may cause delays in processing your order. Your purchase order is a legal document; any changes must be confirmed in writing. Odyssey is not responsible should a duplicate shipment occur because "confirming" did not appear on follow up purchase order.

Selected glassware and ceramic products in the Odyssey line are imported and may be identified with the country of origin. United States customs regulations require that all imported items be clearly marked with the country of origin. If you require "Made in America" products, please contact us.

Overage and Underage
Exact quantity shipments are not guaranteed without an additional charge. All items may be shipped as much as 10% over or under on orders of 288 or less and 5% over or under on orders of 289 or more. Exact quantity shipments are available at an additional charge of 5% of the total order excluding shipping.

Proposition 65
Odyssey decorates products using materials that comply with current U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines for heavy metal release standards. California does not recognize the Federal standards, choosing instead to enforce its own standards as defined in The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, (often referred to as "Proposition 65"). This legislation applies only to CA and does not ban any product; it simply requires either compliance with the law or the use of individual product warning labels. Any item distributed in CA may require a warning label under this California law. Odyssey enforces policies and procedures that comply in all cases with this law. There are numerous approaches to achieving compliance. First, Odyssey has alternative enamels that comply with Proposition 65. Products decorated with these alternative enamels do not require warning labels. Odyssey also offers the following solutions to help solve your compliance needs when traditional enamels are specified.
1. We offer multiple drop ship locations and label only the portion of your order going to CA.
2. We offer warning labels for those orders you choose to ship to or distribute in CA.
3.
We offer the extra protection of labeling your product even if it ships to a state other than CA.
It is the distributor's responsibility to notify Odyssey in advance of shipments planned for immediate or eventual shipment to CA. By way of this notification, the distributor and the end customer holds Odyssey harmless from all liability for alleged Proposition 65 violations including all costs associated with defending any legal claims due to Proposition 65 violations.
Note: Lead Free colors lack the gloss and durability of standard base colors and if used for repeat orders the colors will vary slightly. Organic based colors have less resistance to scratches and have less dishwasher durability.
